Jay is a graduate of Montana State University - Bozeman with 30 years of experience resolving tax issues for small businesses and individuals focusing on advocacy in tax matters from planning to preparation and tax problem resolution. He holds CPA licenses in Arizona and Montana and is a Paralegal (AZ) with experience in probate advocacy and legal research and analysis. The Firm serves clients across the western United States.
As an entrepreneur himself, he understands first-hand the unique challenges facing businesses and enjoys simplifying the complex, looking beyond the present issues at hand to for common-sense solutions to minimize taxes and improve business effectiveness. His career experience in both corporate and public accounting environments includes financial statement audits, multi-state sales tax, hospital finance, and nonprofit consulting. In his free time, he can be found outdoors wandering the vast Arizona deserts or the remote reaches of Montana in search of yet one more agate.
